The God who sees ME

The God who sees ME

El Roi is my favorite name of God because it means the God who sees. He sees me. He wants to have a relationship with me and wants to know every detail of me life even though He is KING of the Universe. He is so good to me. He is my Lord and Savior. Nothing shall separate me from His love. He is All that I need and MORE!

Forgiver and Gossiper

Proverbs 17:9

He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth the very best of friends.

There once were two girls who lived together. They were best friends and loved each other dearly. One was named Forgiver and the other Gossiper. Forgiver sold hand-made clothes for a living and Gossiper sold garden-fresh produce. One day, Gossiper brought a huge basket of juicy strawberries into their house and carelessly set it down on a finely-woven wedding gown. Instantly, the ripe oozing strawberries stained the gorgeous gown that Forgiver had worked so hard on. Just then, Forgiver remembered that she had to sew one last thing on the gown, so she came from the goat pen to the house and found it ruined. She immediately thanked God for allowing this terrible thing to happen and forgave Gossiper, while trusting that God was in control. Then she carefully took the basket off the dress and laid it on the floor near the door. While Gossiper was in the other room, the goat got loose and ate nearly all of the strawberries in the basket. She returned to find her strawberries eaten up. Slowly, her heart filled with hate, as she supposed that Forgiver had eaten the strawberries. With haste, she ran to the village to tell a friend how Forgiver had eaten all of her strawberries. That friend told another, and another told another, and so on. Finally, word got back to Forgiver that she had been accused of being a careless glutton. Again, she forgave Gossiper, even though she was bewildered. When Gossiper returned home that evening, she avoided Forgiver as much as she could, never once mentioning the incident that day. And from that day forward, Gossiper eyed Forgiver with suspicion and resentment. Forgiver, on the other hand, kept loving Gossiper and willingly forgave her every day.
